Ecliptica - Impetus (CD, 2008)

Description

Impetus by Ecliptica (CD, 2008).

Austrian Power Metal band from Vienna – formed in 2005.

So to Ecliptica, an interesting experiment of power metal noir – kind of Brainstorm meets Nightwish if you're looking for comparisons. First off, Ecliptica are much changed from the line up that won Austria's 'Metal Battle 2007', played support to Symphony X and recorded this album as female singer Elisabeth Fangmeyer, bassist Florian Thur and guitarist Bernie Scholz have since left the band
